Our Son Hudson Turns 3 Years Old Today!

Happy Birthday to our little man Hudson who turns 3 years old today!

It is bittersweet as our baby boy is growing up way too fast. He still has his curls, but he is a little boy now. No more baby!!! At least I have these photos from his 3rd birthday portrait so I will always remember him this way. As a momma, I miss the baby boy, but it is so much fun to watch him mature and become a little person. He is so smart and always has so much to say. I thank him for his spirit as he keeps us young and adventurous. He just loves to go out and experience life.
We are so blessed to have Hudson in our lives. His love and spirit touches our heart everyday.

Happy Birthday to our sweet little boy! Mommy and Daddy love you very much and we can’t wait for our next adventures with you.

2016 Orange County Senior Portrait | Katie

Well, life gets busy and it has been a few months since I shot Katie’s senior portraits but decided to share them today because it’s her 18th birthday. Her dad, Franjo and step mom, Kylee have been good friends of ours for almost 10 years now. We have had the pleasure of watching Katie grow up and so honored to capture these moments at this important time in her life. I can’t believe how fast time flies.

Happy Birthday to you Katie!!! Wishing you a wonderful day and a great finish to your senior year of high school.

In addition to Katie’s senior portraits we did a few shots with the family. This is a great time to have a family portrait with the whole gang!

First Birthday Portrait | Jameson turns One Year Old

This past weekend we did a First Birthday Portrait of Jameson. Today he is one year old and we wanted to celebrate by sharing some of the fun birthday images of this little guy. He just loved playing with those balloons and I just love that nearly toothless smile with only two tiny little teeth on the bottom. Such a cutie!

2016 Orange County Senior Portrait | Jack

Congratulations to our featured Senior, Jack who will be a 2016 graduate at El Dorado High School in Placentia, California this Summer. It was so awesome to work with Jack in this urban setting. My goal is to make these kids look cool and feel relaxed. I mean you are only a Senior in High School once so you have to make your mark. Having an environmental setting for your Senior Portrait gives you a chance to show off your personality. They are also great photos to share in your graduation announcements.

Newport Beach Orange County Wedding | Mike + Shannon

Here are some ideas for venues if you are planning a Newport Beach, Orange County Wedding. We were thrilled to spend the day with Mike and Shannon and photograph their wedding. We started with a first look before the wedding at the Balboa Bay Resort and took a few photos of the couple there. We then headed to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for the wedding ceremony. Afterwards the couple requested we go to the beach for the bridal photos. Finally, their wedding reception was held at the Harborside Restaurant and Grand Ballroom located near the Balboa Fun Zone. Such great spots for a wedding. We hope you enjoy the photos.

Balboa Inn Newport Beach Wedding | Richie and Sheela

We photographed Richie and Sheela’s wedding at the Balboa Inn in Newport Beach. We loved working with this couple! Sheela dressed in a traditional Indian Bridal Saree. I love the first shot of her mom and Aunt helping her get dressed and all of the bangles and gold. It looks so beautiful. The couple had their wedding and reception on the Terrace at Balboa Inn. We also incorporated some Beach photos by the Balboa Pier since this venue is so close to the sand in Newport. Congratulations to Richie & Sheela, it was a pleasure working with you and your family.

Newport Beach CA LDS Temple Wedding | Ben + Megan

Ben and Megan planned their wedding in California at the Newport Beach LDS Temple. We arrived for photos just as the couple made the exit from the temple right after their wedding ceremony. The LDS temple in Newport has such beautiful grounds for wedding photos. We loved it!!!
The couple also requested photos at the beach, so we headed to the Wedge in Newport Beach. We had so much fun with this couple as they enjoyed the day in the sand. A bride, running barefoot at the beach in her wedding dress is such a fabulous moment. We got some great shots of these two in LOVE and having fun.

To celebrate with all of their family and friends they had an intimate wedding reception at Il Fornaio in Irvine, CA. This is a great venue for a wedding of various sizes as they can accommodate your ceremony as well as a small to larger guest count for your reception. Oh and the food is spectacular and I am not just saying that because I am Italian. We have eaten there on several occasions.

Laguna Beach Senior Portrait | Addison

Gosh, Summer is flying right by us! School is already starting for some and we are taking Senior Photos for the 2016 graduates. Here is Addison who recently visited California and wanted to do his senior portraits at the beach. He lives and goes to school in Wisconsin, so this is definitely something different and will stand out. His family was so excited to have a beach portrait done in Laguna to submit for his yearbook photo. How cool will that be?

Addison was super cool to work with. It was great that he included his baseball jersey for a few shots. That is what this year is about. Showing who you are and what you like to do to document this time of your life. Congratulations Addison, we hope you have a great Senior year!!!

Disneyland Engagement Proposal

I am so excited to share this surprise engagement proposal for Kevin and Samantha that I photographed at Disneyland. Kevin reached out to me from Australia where he and Samantha live and asked me to shoot his engagement proposal when they came to vacation at the Disney Resort in Anaheim, California.

I have to say that major props got out to this guy as he had it all planned out to be a moment that Samantha would never forget. This girl got to be a princess for the evening. The romantic date started with a horse drawn Cinderella Carriage from their hotel by Savannah Rose Carriages which dropped them off at Disneyland. Kevin’s plan was to do his engagement proposal in front of the Cinderella Castle, so it all tied in to the theme. I watched them start the ride down the street in the carriage then got in place where they would step off the carriage. All of the shots were captured from a distance. As I followed them down Main Street in Disneyland, Samantha had no idea I was there. I was able to capture all of the small moments prior to their proposal, the actual engagement and then we took a few shots of the two together after they got engaged. My eyes teared up in this special moment. I am truly inspired by these precious times in peoples lives that I get to capture. It was so wonderful to see them so happy.

You are going to love this one! A big congratulations to Kevin and Samantha on their beautiful engagement. Thanks for having me be a part of this awesome day. We hope to see you at the wedding as we would love to go to Australia and photograph it.
