Sipper Photography attended such a fabulous Bridal Show event this past weekend that was hosted by Hotel Irvine. All of the vendors did a great job showing off their services to potential brides. For this feature we thought we would share some of the favorite things we saw for any of you still planning your weddings. There were so many beautiful tablescapes, floral arrangements and bridal gowns showcased at this amazing event venue at Hotel Irvine. We hope you ladies enjoyed the day as much as we did. We just LOVE weddings and wish you all the best in your wedding planning!!!

Heritage Park Wedding in Oceanside | David + Helen

Today we are featuring some moments from David and Helen’s wedding at Heritage Park in Oceanside, California. This is such a cute little wedding venue to have an outdoor lawn ceremony or reception event. You can get married right at the gazebo and take plenty of wedding photos in the surrounding village area. We just loved this couple, David and Helen had such fun personalities. I love the shot where David lifted up his bride as they exited the ceremony. If you are planning a wedding in the San Diego area this year, you have to check out this hidden little spot for your big day.

Rustic Wedding Details at Red Horse Barn

We just photographed Chris and Maryalice’s wedding at the Red Horse Barn and were so impressed by all of the decor details that we wanted to feature them in a separate blog. At this wedding we worked with An All Inclusive Event and Robyn’s Event Planning. Both of these wedding & event companies do such an impeccable job with their events. We are continually amazed at the detail and workmanship that goes into their weddings. It truly is a pleasure to be surrounded by other vendors that share the same work ethic as us. Both the staff of Red Horse Barn, An All Inclusive Event and Robyn’s Event Planning go above and beyond to make everything perfect on your wedding day. We highly recommend them!

Red Horse Barn Wedding | Chris + Maryalice

Congrats to our featured couple today, Chris and Maryalice, on their recent wedding. It was a beautiful day for a June wedding at The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. We love this venue as it makes for such a romantic setting for your special day. It was such a pleasure working with Chris and Mara (a.k.a Maryalice) as they have some cute love stories. The two met on a blind date that was set up by the groom’s sister, Megan. After the date, the two began to follow each other on Instagram and the rest they say is history. These two are quite the sports fans, during the ceremony the officiant mentioned that Mara was a keeper when she agreed to season tickets for the Anaheim Ducks. Chris was overjoyed!! They also shared with us that they got engaged during an Angels Baseball game. How awesome is that?
The day was perfect thanks to all of the details and coordination of An All Inclusive Event and Robyn’s Event Planning. In fact, we were so amazed by all of their hard work and fabulous wedding details that we will be featuring them in a separate blog to follow this post. Hotel Irvine Summer Solstice Event

We are so excited to have photographed this fabulous Orange County Event venue at Hotel Irvine this weekend. It’s such a great spot to host just about any social or corporate event. For those of you planning a 2016 holiday party or your wedding this next year… you must check this venue out. Newly refurbished is The Backyard which is a gorgeous lawn area for your outdoor party or ceremony. For your reception or indoor events they offer several spaces for the most intimate event to the grandest occasion at The Pavilion or The Grand Ballroom. The Pavilion which is featured below gives you the white tented look and sits right next to The Backyard lawn area. With the modern look and decor of this venue, there are so many great spots for your photo ops. One of our favorites is the lobby front desk area…the design is absolutely gorgeous. With an exceptional staff, chef and catering department, your event will be incredible. You can see photos here of all the amazing food we had including passed appetizers, a Mediterranean Cheese & Humus bar, and the Yellow Tail and Poke Stations. It was such a fun evening. We love, love, love this place!

Our Son Hudson Turns 3 Years Old Today!

Happy Birthday to our little man Hudson who turns 3 years old today!

It is bittersweet as our baby boy is growing up way too fast. He still has his curls, but he is a little boy now. No more baby!!! At least I have these photos from his 3rd birthday portrait so I will always remember him this way. As a momma, I miss the baby boy, but it is so much fun to watch him mature and become a little person. He is so smart and always has so much to say. I thank him for his spirit as he keeps us young and adventurous. He just loves to go out and experience life.
We are so blessed to have Hudson in our lives. His love and spirit touches our heart everyday.

Happy Birthday to our sweet little boy! Mommy and Daddy love you very much and we can’t wait for our next adventures with you.

2016 Orange County Senior Portrait | Katie

Well, life gets busy and it has been a few months since I shot Katie’s senior portraits but decided to share them today because it’s her 18th birthday. Her dad, Franjo and step mom, Kylee have been good friends of ours for almost 10 years now. We have had the pleasure of watching Katie grow up and so honored to capture these moments at this important time in her life. I can’t believe how fast time flies.

First Birthday Portrait | Jameson turns One Year Old

This past weekend we did a First Birthday Portrait of Jameson. Today he is one year old and we wanted to celebrate by sharing some of the fun birthday images of this little guy. He just loved playing with those balloons and I just love that nearly toothless smile with only two tiny little teeth on the bottom. Such a cutie!

2016 Orange County Senior Portrait | Jack

Congratulations to our featured Senior, Jack who will be a 2016 graduate at El Dorado High School in Placentia, California this Summer. It was so awesome to work with Jack in this urban setting. My goal is to make these kids look cool and feel relaxed. I mean you are only a Senior in High School once so you have to make your mark. Having an environmental setting for your Senior Portrait gives you a chance to show off your personality. They are also great photos to share in your graduation announcements.
